I know it’s been a while since my last post but here I am! As Summer is officially right around the corner, there are a few things that I would like to share from the Spring semester I recently finished at the Academy of Art University.
As you all know I am in Durham, NC which means that I’ve been working on my studies online. This semester I had the amazing opportunity to do a One-on-One with a photographer who would serve as my mentor throughout the semester as I continue to work on my Thesis project. Her name is Sequoia Emmanuelle. She is super talented and helped me so much. I am super thankful for this amazing experience for it has opened my mind to new ways of creating art with my work.
Throughout these months I also had the pleasure of working with really amazing and talented models, designers, and makeup artists who’m have also become my friends.
In addition, I have been given the incredible opportunity to become a professor at The Art Institute in Raleigh-Durham starting next month! (Wohooo) This alone makes me so happy because I get to teach others what I love most; photography! :)
So what’s next? Well it’s been almost 10 months since I left Puerto Rico last Summer so guess where I’m going soon? Yes, you got it, PUERTO RICO! I’m visiting the Island for 10 days, and as you can imagine I WILL be working on some really amazing photoshoots with my friend and crazy awesome hair and makeup artist, Charmed Eyes by Namir. To this, I simply say: stay tuned for some photo awesomeness!
Now for my followers in the Raleigh-Durham, NC area, stay tuned for new things coming up the next month!
